Cinemas in Brighton and Hove

The Duke of York’s CinemaLocated on Preston Circus, the Duke of York’s shows the best of current, classic, cult, independent and foreign-language releases. Opened on 22nd September 1910, this was one of Brighton’s first ‘picture palaces’ and one of the earliest cinemas in the world! Ditchling Village Film Society
Ditchling Film Society was started 27 years ago by local film enthusiasts and has been meeting in the village hall at 8pm on the first Thursday of each month (apart from August and September), ever since.

Lewes Film Club The Lewes Film Club is run by a committee of volunteer film enthusiasts and is a non-profit making venture. Their aim is to bring a interesting range of arthouse, classic and foreign films, not normally shown at commercial cinemas, to the residents of Lewes and the surrounding area at very low prices. They run a season of 22 films from September to May mostly showing on Friday nights at the All Saints Centre, Friars Walk.
